Bacon's shock at Footloose remake

Kevin Bacon's career was launched when he starred in Footloose

Kevin Bacon has revealed his surprise at the Footloose remake, saying it makes him feel old.

The US actor's career was launched after he danced his way through the 1984 musical, which is being remade with up-and-coming actor Kenny Wormald stepping into his shoes.

"To realise that you're old enough to have a movie that you were in and it's time to remake it, it's a little bit of a shock, I have to say. It's not something that ever even occurred to me - that I would be alive when they would be remaking a picture of mine," he told Daybreak.

Kevin - who next stars in X-Men: First Class with James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender - is excited to see how it would work, however, adding: "But cool, let's see how it is. I'm looking forward to it."

Don't confuse love with lust. Having a physical relationship with someone isn't an indication of emotional commitment. Fortunately, you have the necessary resources to bail them out.More
