Bambi awards for Hayek and Dion

Salma Hayek won the Bambi for International Film Star

Salma Hayek and Celine Dion were among the stars honoured at German celebrity awards show the Bambis.

Oscar-winner Salma, who recently appeared in Oliver Stone's Savages and comedy Here Comes The Boom with Kevin James, won the 2012 Bambi Award for International Film Star.

Canadian singer Celine won her third Bambi, picking up this year's Entertainment award.

British boyband One Direction won the National Pop gong and Austrian singer Andreas Gabalier - known as the Justin Bieber of folk music - scooped this year's Shooting Star Bambi.

The Bambis also honour the best German film and television performances of the past year.
