Banderas steps into Castro's boots?

Antonio Banderas is currently starring in new film Haywire

Antonio Banderas is apparently in talks to play Fidel Castro in Castro's Daughter.

The Spanish star is looking to step into the shoes of the Cuban leader in the upcoming biopic, based on Castro's daughter Alina Fernandez's biography Castro's Daughter: An Exile's Memory Of Cuba, reported Screen Daily.

The movie, which is to be directed by English filmmaker Michael Radford and is being written by Bobby Moresco and Nilo Cruz, will tell the story of Alina, who escaped Cuba as a Spanish tourist and later wrote her book detailing life in Cuba and under her father's rule.

Filming is expected to take place in Puerto Rico.

Antonio - who was last seen in Pedro Almodovar's The Skin I Live In and Puss In Boots - next appears in Steven Soderbergh's Haywire alongside Ewan McGregor, Channing Tatum and Gina Carano.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
