Bardem and Franco for Titans 2?
Javier Bardem and James Franco have reportedly been offered roles in Clash Of The Titans 2.
The sequel to Warner Bros' 3D action epic - based on Greek mythology and starring Avatar's Sam Worthington - will be called Wrath Of The Titans. Production Weekly reports Biutiful star Javier is the top choice to play the god of war, Ares.
127 Hours star James is apparently in line to play Agenor, the king of Tyre in Greek mythology, and father of Europa, whom the god Zeus kidnaps and marries.
Liam Neeson starred as Zeus in the first film.
Spanish star Javier would be new to this type of CGI blockbuster, but James has previously appeared in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy.
Battle: Los Angeles director Jonathan Liebesman will direct after French director Louis Leterrier bowed out after Clash Of The Titans.
Filming is due to begin on the project in January.
