Bateman to direct wedding comedy

Jason Bateman's next directing project is to be a comedy featuring the FBI and a wedding.

The Horrible Bosses funnyman will also star in the currently untitled film, Deadline reported.

David Flebotte and Phil Alden Robinson wrote the initial script, which The Pest's David Bar Katz will rewrite for the Universal Pictures project.

Jason will also co-produce the film.

The Arrested Development star made his directorial debut last year with Bad Words, a comedy about a spelling bee loser who attempts to find a loophole and win as an adult.

He is about to begin work directing Family Fang in New York City in July, another comedy in which he will appear alongside Nicole Kidman and Christopher Walken in a story about a family of performance artists.
