Halle Berry has revealed that she will reprise her role in the X-Men sequel.
The Oscar-winning actress confirmed that she is "excited" to return as weather-changing mutant Storm in Bryan Singer's Days Of Future Past.
"I'm in. I think I'm in," she told Access Hollywood.
Director Bryan tweeted about the casting news: "Couldn't be more excited that #HalleBerry has joined the cast of#XMen #DaysofFuturePast. Hopefully she can improve the weather in Montreal."
Halle, who stars in the Wachowski siblings' epic drama Cloud Atlas, said Storm is one of her favourite characters.
"I love Storm. That's one of my favourite characters that I've played. And people love that character as well," she said.
She even joked that she didn't mind spending hours back in the make-up chair, following her physical transformation in Cloud Atlas: "After Cloud Atlas any make-up job is a breeze. A breeze!"
Halle is the latest star confirmed to be returning to the X-Men franchise for Days Of Future Past. Hugh Jackman, Anna Paquin, Ellen Page, Sir Patrick Stewart and Sir Ian McKellen are all set to reprise their roles.
