Paul Bettany looks set to join Johnny Depp in new film Transcendence.
The Avengers Assemble actor is currently in talks about taking on a role in the sci-fi thriller, reported Deadline.
Earlier this week it was reported that Johnny was officially on board for Wally Pfister's film.
He is thought to be playing a scientist who has his brain uploaded into a computer.
Although there are few details about Paul's potential role, Deadline says he will also play a scientist.
Production on Transcendence is expected to start in the spring.
Paul has several projects in the pipeline, including Iron Man 3.
