Blake Harrison has confessed he is loving playing a villain in his new film.
The Inbetweeners star - known for playing hapless fool Neil Sutherland in the hit comedy - has recently finished work on thriller Keeping Rosy, starring Maxine Peake, and admitted it was good to take a break from comedy.
Blake laughed: "It's not actually very Rosy, it's very dark.
"I can't tell you too much about what happens but I don't make her life particularly easy. It's a very much darker character for me to play, which was a lot of fun for me."
The 27-year-old actor revealed he used to play villains all the time before he was cast in The Inbetweeners.
He said: "It's just been a lot of fun for me to play, because it's not something you have seen me in very much of. When I was at drama school I would play a lot of the villains, and when I got out of drama school I ended up playing comedic idiots!
"But now I'm going back to that kind of stuff that I remember how fun it is. I would say it's better being the bad guy!"
