Bond girl Lea Seydoux reveals 'strong chemistry' with Daniel Craig

New Bond girl Lea Seydoux has revealed the "strong" chemistry between her and Daniel Craig.

Seydoux, who plays psychologist Dr Madeleine Swann in the new Bond film Spectre, said: "He is the perfect James Bond - the best ever, I think, serious and strong as well as intelligent.

"We have the same sense of humour. There was a real complicity. Even when filming serious scenes we joked and had fun.

"It was always that 'wink, wink' feeling between us. The chemistry was strong. I hope the audience can feel that."

Seydoux made the comments in an interview with the Mail on Sunday's You magazine. She added: "I'm so lucky. Every girl wants to be in a film with Daniel Craig, right?"

The French actress caused a stir in 2013 when she starred in Blue Is The Warmest Colour - the independent French film which famously included an extended lesbian sex scene.

She is currently appearing in The Lobster alongside Daniel Craig's off-screen wife Rachel Weisz and Colin Farrell.

Spectre opens in cinemas on October 26.
