Bono's daughter Eve Hewson has signed up to play a music fan in a film with Sean Penn, according to reports.
Eve, a newcomer on the Hollywood scene, will play a gothic-punk music fan in This Must Be The Place, reported Variety.
Frances McDormand is also starring in Italian filmmaker Paolo Sorrentino's indie drama.
Sean plays an ageing rock star, who is close friends with Eve's character, and who becomes fixated on pursuing the Nazi criminal who tormented his father in a concentration camp.
The movie was penned by Paolo and Umberto Contarello and filming is set to begin this month in Ireland and the US.
U2 star Bono's daughter Eve, 19, recently starred in Erica Dunton's indie drama The 27 Club.
