Brad Pitt could be starring in World War II film Fury.
The Fight Club star is said to be "in final talks" to lead David Ayer's upcoming historical movie, reported Deadline.
The 49-year-old, who is engaged to Angelina Jolie, would find himself in the driver's seat of a tank if negotiations work out, as his character would lead a crew of an American tank called Fury, as they battle the German army in the 1945-set drama.
Filmmaker David, who also directed End Of Watch starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena, has said that he aims to "bring tank combat to life in a way that lands with a modern audience" with the film.
Production on Fury is planned for September.
Brad, who was last seen in crime drama Killing Them Softly, will next be in Marc Forster's zombie drama World War Z before appearing in Ridley Scott's The Counsellor and Steve McQueen's Twelve Years A Slave.
