Bradley Cooper is in talks to star in a remake of cult 90s thriller The Crow.
The Hangover hunk met with Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, director of 28 Weeks Later, in Spain recently, according to The Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog, and the pair are reported to have "hit it off and shared a vision for the character and the film".
Sources claim Bradley is keen to play the rock musician who is murdered while trying to save his fiancee from thugs, but seeks revenge when he is resurrected by supernatural forces.
The gothic story, from the comic book series by James O'Barr, was made into a film in 1993 starring Brandon Lee, who was killed during a freak accident with a stunt gun during production.
This new adaptation, produced by Relativity, who made Bradley's new thriller Limitless, is said to be a "reinvention" of the original film.
