Janet Jackson has said despite winning numerous Grammy Awards, gracing the big and small screens and having an Academy Award nomination under her belt, she still has a long to-do list.
The 44-year-old star of the new big-screen drama For Coloured Girls revealed she would love to foray into Brazilian music and jazz - genres she grew up listening to.
She said at the movie's New York premiere Brazilian music was "a great love" of hers.
Janet plays a shrewd magazine executive facing marital problems in Tyler Perry's adaptation of Ntozake Shange's play For Coloured Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When The Rainbow Is Enuf.
She added her other professional goals include becoming an action star and doing a sci-fi film.
Janet told Entertainment Tonight that acting was always one of her dreams.
"I wanted this to be my career ... I'm finally living out my childhood dream," she said.
