Breslin to play homeless teenager?

Abigail Breslin looks set to play a pregnant, homesless teen in a new film

Abigail Breslin is set for another gritty role in The Things We Do For Love.

The 15-year-old is tipped to play a pregnant and homeless teenager in the big-screen adaptation of Kristin Hannah's novel, reported Deadline.

The book sees Abigail's character Lauren Ribido forming a special connection with a disillusioned, childless divorcee who takes her in, although that role has not yet been cast.

The Little Miss Sunshine actress, who became the youngest star to be nominated for an Oscar in 2006, will next appear in crime drama Perfect Sisters alongside Georgie Henley and Mira Sorvino.

She has been filming sci-fi drama Ender's Game with Harrison Ford and Sir Ben Kingsley.
