Brian Grazer honoured at Deauville

Brian Grazer was joined on stage by Sir Mick Jagger as he was honoured for his film career in Deauville.

The producer collected a career award at Deauville American Film Festival before the European premiere of his James Brown biopic Get On Up, which he made with the Rolling Stones star.

The director Tate Taylor and Chadwick Boseman, who plays the Godfather of Soul, also attended the event, said the Hollywood Reporter.

Brian - who has worked on movies including Splash, Apollo 13, A Beautiful Mind and Frost/Nixon - poked fun at his own lack of French skills but thanked many of France's film figures at the ceremony.

The filmmaker co-founded Imagine Entertainment in 1986 with Ron Howard.

And he made sure to thank the director - who he referred to as his " partner and best friend" for their collaborations.
