Brolin: I love to keep working

Josh Brolin has said he can't understand why some actors take long breaks between movies.
The Gangster Squad actor has not stopped working in the last five years and admitted he "loves" to keep busy.
"I love to work and I don't understand the mentality of actors who work once every two years. I don't understand where that new thing came from. Back in the studio system days people would do five to six movies a year," he said.
Josh has done around three films a year in the past five years.
To keep things interesting, he prefers to mix things up and do as many different projects as possible. Along with Prohibition-era thriller Gangster Squad, he has also starred in Men In Black III, Milk, True Grit, W and Jonah Hex.
"Just keep mixing it up, that's selfishly what I am trying to do. If I was watching an actor I appreciated or an actress I appreciated I wouldn't want to see them doing the same things again and again," he said.
"I like to see the challenges and I am rooting for every actor that does that. You hear 'What are they doing a comedy for?' or 'What are they doing this for?' Why not? They are actors. Try it."
