Caine, Jackson to co-star in movie

Sir Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson are teaming up for a new movie.

The pair are set to star in dramedy Harry And The Butler, which will be directed by George C Wolfe, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

Sir Michael will star as a butler hired by a rollercoaster mechanic and one-time jazz star (Samuel), after he inherits a large sum of money.

The movie will be produced by Philippe Rivier of Spirit Films and Colin Callender of Playground Entertainment.

They said: "We are very proud to bring together these two great movie icons, Sam Jackson and Michael Caine, under the direction of the great George C Wolfe.

"Harry And The Butler follows in the honourable tradition of so many classic films in which a chance encounter between two disparate characters transforms them forever."

Shooting is due to start in Louisiana in 2014.
