Carell magics up Kingdom role?
Steve Carell is reportedly attached to fantasy comedy Magic Kingdom For Sale - Sold!
The Crazy, Stupid, Love star is said to be playing a widowed lawyer whose life changes after he decides to buy a magical kingdom, Hollywood.com reported.
Based on Terry Brooks' novel of the same name and adapted by Craig Wright, the project is still in its early stages, with no other actors or director attached as yet.
Steve is no stranger to magic-themed movies, having appeared in Bewitched, Evan Almighty and the upcoming Burt Wonderstone.
The actor's forthcoming roles include starring turns in comedy drama Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World alongside Keira Knightley, and romantic comedy Great Hope Springs with Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones.
He is also expected to reprise his role as super-villain Gru in the Despicable Me sequel.
