Carrey heads towards Loomis Fargo
Jim Carrey has signed on to star in action-comedy Loomis Fargo.
The Ace Ventura star is set to play a "disgruntled bank employee" who conspires to steal 20 million dollars from the bank with a work colleague - but they face a struggle with getting away with the heist, reported Collider.
Directed by Napoleon Dynamite's Jared Hess, the film is based on an original screenplay by Emily Spivey and is inspired by real-life events.
Production on Loomis Fargo is expected to begin in North Carolina in April.
Jim's new comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone is set to receive its world premiere at the South By Southwest festival in Texas on March 8.
The 51-year-old, who has appeared in The Office and 30 Rock, will play Colonel Stars and Stripes in Kick-Ass 2, and is set to reprise his role as Lloyd Christmas in Dumb And Dumber To.
