Cavill: Man Of Steel 2 is one film

Henry Cavill has said that Batman v Superman: Dawn Of Justice will be released as one film.

There had been rumours that director Zack Snyder would be splitting the Man Of Steel sequel into two films, but the British actor, who will reprise his role as Superman, told Variety that will not be the case.

The publication's writer Ramin Setoodeh tweeted: " Henry Cavill says Batman v Superman won't be split into two movies."

The 31-year-old star, who said Ben Affleck makes a "great" Batman, joked he wasn't injured during the filming of their fight scenes.

"Are you kidding?" he quipped. "I'm the Man of Steel."

And when asked if Batman v Superman would be more epic than Marvel's Avengers sequel, Age Of Ultron, he replied: "You'll see."

Batman v Superman, also starring Amy Adams, Gal Gadot and Jesse Eisenberg, will be released in March 2016.
