Celebrity Big Brother: I know Michelle will remain faithful, says boyfriend Hugh
Wednesday, 14 January 2009
Celebrity Big Brother housemates have been speculating about Michelle Heaton's feelings for Ben Adams but her Dublin boyfriend is adamant she would never cheat on him.
Singer La Toya Jackson told Shameless actress Tina Malone that she thought Heaton was "madly in love" with the former member of boyband A1. However, advertising executive Hugh Hanley said he has no concerns about his girlfriend Michelle straying.
Hugh (30), said: "She's the most genuine girl I've ever met. She's nothing but honest with me about everything."
Speaking about claims by Michelle's ex-hubby Andy Scott-Lee that she cheated on him, Hugh said: "What happened with Andy is old news. That's Michelle's past and we're looking towards our future."
Despite Coolio's incessant teasing that there is electric chemistry between the pair, Ben and Michelle have denied any romantic feelings.
Ben said rapper Coolio's teasing made him feel awkward.
"I am absolutely not interested in splitting up someone else's relationship,'' he said.
"I'd never do that, and I don't see Michelle like that -- she's a nice girl, but there isn't an attraction with Michelle, it's more like a friendship.''
Meanwhile, in an interview with New! magazine, Hugh said he completely trusted Michelle and Ben's friendship.
"Michelle and Ben knew each other before they went into the house so obviously they're going to hang out together.
"Ben's a lovely fella. I'm not worried. There's no chemistry between them. Michelle and I wouldn't have a good relationship if I got jealous of her just talking to a lad."
La Toya said to Tina earlier in the day: "Have you noticed that two people are in love? It's so blatant. They're afraid to say anything because of all the cameras.
"She is madly in love with him, more than he is for her.
"It's so cute, it's really cute and I feel so bad, because I feel as if their bodies are fighting each other inside, and they can't do anything about it.''
The American housemates -- La Toya, Coolio and Austin Powers actor Verne Troyer -- successfully completed their "British buzz"' task, and earned three tokens.
They answered questions about aspects of Britain and British culture after tuition from the British housemates -- despite Heaton thinking Ayers Rock was in Britain.
