Chancellor: Bond movies for boys

Anna Chancellor has confessed she doesn't like James Bond films, dismissing them as a "boys' fantasy".

The actress plays the real-life Moneypenny in Sky Atlantic's new drama Fleming, about Bond author Ian Fleming.

But Anna told The Sun: "I can't say I've seen all the films. I have no interest in them. It's a boy's fantasy. I'm bored by Sean Connery. He doesn't do it for me."

But The Hour star, who is joining the cast of Downton Abbey, insisted the new TV show, starring Dominic Cooper as Ian Fleming, wasn't dull.

She said: "I like the drama itself. Ian Fleming's interesting, the era's interesting."
