Jessica Chastain has signed up to Guillermo del Toro's new horror film Crimson Peak.
The Zero Dark Thirty actress will appear in Guillermo's latest project alongside Benedict Cumberbatch, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Crimson Peak is also set to star Emma Stone and Charlie Hunnam.
Oscar nominee Jessica has worked with Guillermo before on the horror film Mama which he produced.
This new fright flick is apparently a homage to The Haunting and Jack Clayton's The Innocents.
"I've always tried to make big-sized horror movies like the ones I grew up watching," Guillermo told Deadline when Crimson Peak was first announced.
He said: "I think people are getting used to horror subjects done as found footage or B-value budgets. I wanted this to feel like a throwback."
The Hollywood Reporter said the film will follow a woman whose husband turns out not to be who he claims, but as yet there are no details of who will play which character.
Crimson Peak will start shooting in February 2014.
Jessica, 36, can be seen this year in The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby His and Hers and is currently filming Miss Julie.
