Cheetos win Elizabeth Olsen's heart
Elizabeth Olsen has revealed that one of the most romantic presents she has ever received was a bag of spicy crisps.
The 23-year-old actress stars in Josh Radnor's new romantic film Liberal Arts as a young student swept off her feet by an older graduate, who woos her with books and love letters.
Elizabeth revealed: "You know what was really special to me is my first boyfriend, when I was15 or 16, he dropped off a gift without telling me and it had - I don't like red roses - so he had a yellow rose, and a CD that he made and a bag of Flaming Hot Cheetos because those are my favourite chips.
"And I thought that was really sweet - for no reason."
Elizabeth won rave reviews for her movie debut in Martha, Marcy, May Marlene, playing a young runaway who has escaped from an abusive cult. Her other recent films include horror film Silent House, so she admits playing free spirit Zippy in Liberal Arts was a refreshing change.,
She said: "I really wanted to do something that was a little bit more light hearted than what I was used to.
"I just think I needed that for myself and to add positive energy to the work I was doing."
:: Liberal Arts opens in cinemas on October 5.
