Chris Pine to be Horrible Boss

Chris Pine has signed up for the sequel to Horrible Bosses.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Star Trek hunk was in talks with Oscar-winner Christoph Waltz to play a father and

son team in Horrible Bosses 2, but Waltz turned the role down.

Chris will still star in the comedy movie, which sees Jason Sudeikis, Charlie Day and Jason Bateman return as the friends who got so fed-up with being taken advantage of by their demanding employers, they conspired to kill them.

Jamie Foxx, who played a comedy gangster who acted as a "murder mentor", will also reprise his role.

We're The Millers writers Sean Anders and John Morris will direct the comedy sequel.

New Line are currently in the process of casting new actors to play the other bosses, although it is rumoured there may be cameos from previous bosses Jennifer Aniston and Kevin Spacey.

John Francis Daley and Jonathan Goldstein, who worked on the first movie, penned the original draft for the sequel. Anders and Morris recently did a rewrite.
