Christian Bale set to play Moses?

Christian Bale could play Moses on the big screen

Christian Bale could be set to play Moses in a new biblical epic.

The Batman star is currently in talks about taking on the role in the film, which is titled Exodus, Deadline reported.

However, negotiations are thought to be at an early stage.

Fox is developing the project with director Ridley Scott, who is expected to get to work on the movie after he finishes his film The Counsellor.

Christian, 39, has several movies coming up including thriller Out Of The Furnace and an untitled David O Russell project in which he co-stars with Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.
