The Clint Eastwood one-liner "Go ahead, make my day" has been voted the most iconic film catchphrase in a poll.
One in five people taking part in the survey said the line in the 1983 film Sudden Impact was their favourite.
Arnold Schwarzenegger's "I'll be back", from The Terminator, was voted second most iconic film line, with "Nobody puts Baby in the corner" from Dirty Dancing third.
The survey, to coincide with the launch of the Russian Standard Vodka Originals Film Festival, found lines from classic films were favoured by cinema goers.
"Mama always said life was like a box of chocolates", Tom Hanks' much-quoted line from Forrest Gump, came fourth in the survey, with "Frankly my dear, I don't give a damn" from Gone with the Wind completing the top five.
The survey also found one in five men say they are too scared to watch horror films, and drama was the favourite genre for both men and women.
A total of 1,295 people took part in the online poll.
The film festival begins with a week of screenings in London on September 6.
