Clinton gets documentary treatment

Hillary Clinton will be the subject of a new CNN documentary film

Hillary Clinton's life is getting the documentary treatment - CNN Films is planning a feature-length film on the former US first lady and secretary of state to premiere next year.

It will look at Mrs Clinton's professional and personal life.

The film, from Oscar-winning director and producer Charles Ferguson will have a US cinema run before being shown on CNN.

Last weekend NBC announced a four-hour mini-series, Hillary, starring Diane Lane. No date was announced, but it is timed to precede the 2016 presidential election.Clinton has not said whether she will make another run for the Democratic nomination for president.

NBC says the its mini-series will track her life and career from 1998 to the present.
