Clooney: I made career mistakes

George Clooney said he was lucky because people didn't notice his mistakes

George Clooney has admitted to making some real turkeys in his career.

The Descendants star told TV Times he had made a lot of bad television and films but was lucky enough to have done them without anyone really noticing.

He said: "I did a lot of terrible TV shows and was really bad in them and I've done some dreadful films I was awful in, but nobody really noticed.

"I'm one of the lucky ones who got to make a lot of mistakes when no one was paying attention."

George also said his film career had been a bit of a mixed bag.

He said: "I've been lucky enough to do a few films that will last longer than an opening weekend and those are the ones I'm proud of.

"I have a few that I look back on and say, 'Well that worked'. And I've had some that didn't really work and I don't mind that as long as I've attempted to push the envelope."

George is currently filming World War II drama The Monuments Men in Sussex.

Don't confuse love with lust. Having a physical relationship with someone isn't an indication of emotional commitment. If you're with someone who doesn't want to spend time with you outside the bedroom, move on to greener pastures. It's sometimes difficult to face the truth of a situation like this. When in doubt, talk to a trusted friend. They'll give you an honest assessment of this bond. A relative may ask to come to their rescue. Fortunately, you have the necessary resources to bail them out.More
