Colin Farrell’s heart still in Ireland

Colin Farrell

Colin Farrell believes he will always have two homes.

The Irish actor doesn’t spend too much time in his homeland nowadays, instead choosing to live in the US following his success in Hollywood.

But Colin admits that, while he likes to reside close to his work, there will always be a part of him that longs to return to Ireland.

“I have two homes, I only have one place I am from and that is Dublin, but I only have one place where I live and that is America,” the 34-year-old said.

Colin wants to stay near his young family throughout the year in California. Nevertheless, the star enjoys festive trips back across the Atlantic. “I have two boys in Los Angeles so I am there. I have a lot of friends and family in Ireland and I am looking forward to going back for Christmas,” he stated.

And the Dubliner admits trips home are not due to some desire to get out of the limelight. He says there’s usually no debauchery outside of his filmmaking.

“I have nothing to escape from. There is no craziness, when I am not working I am really, really low-key. Even more low-key than when I was 17 and I started working as an actor in Dublin,” Colin added.

Gemini:

You never do anything in moderation. Attend every fun party, accept every juicy offer and try all the delectable treats spread before you. Avoid unpleasant people and activities like the plague. This should be a time of enjoyment. Leave your list of chores at home. You can always attend to these jobs at another time. If you have a chance to show your creative work to a publisher, manager or agent, go ahead. This is also a great opportunity to go on job interviews, auditions and first dates.More
