Colin Firth's thrilling movie role

Colin Firth has signed up for the thriller Three To Kill.

Deadline reported that the Oscar winner will star in the film about a disillusioned businessman who is targeted by two sociopaths after witnessing a murder.

The film, to be directed by Mission: Impossible 5 filmmaker Christopher McQuarrie, is an adaptation of the novel by French crime novelist Jean-Patrick Manchette.

Deadline said that Howard Rodman will pen the script for the movie, to be set on the coast of France.

The King's Speech star Colin is currently filming The Secret Service, alongside Michael Caine and Samuel L Jackson as well as a voice role in the Paddington film.

He's soon set to appear in The Railway Man with Nicole Kidman and Devil's Knot with Reese Witherspoon.
