Coogan set for Idiot Brother movie

Steve Coogan looks set to star in My Idiot Brother

Steve Coogan is to play the part of a self-righteous documentary maker in a new film, My Idiot Brother.

The film revolves around family and the sacrifices it takes to deal with them, Deadline.com reports.

The indie comedy is being shot in New York and features Paul Rudd, Elizabeth Banks, Zooey Deschanel, Emily Mortimer, Rashida Jones and Adam Scott.

The movie will be directed by Jesse Peretz and the script has been written by Evgenia Peretz and David Schisgall.

Actor and comedian Steve and Rob Brydon are about to play versions on themselves travelling around northern England reviewing restaurants for a Sunday newspaper in forthcoming BBC film The Trip.
