Cooper heads for Dark Invasion?

Bradley Cooper could be taking on the lead role in Dark Invasion

Bradley Cooper is apparently in talks to star in the spy thriller Dark Invasion.

The Oscar-nominated Silver Linings Playbook actor will take the lead role in Warner Bros' big-screen adaptation of Howard Blum's book, which he will also produce, reported Deadline.

The 38-year-old is attached to play NYPD Captain Tom Tunney, considered to be the CIA's first head of homeland security.

Set in 1915 America during World War I, the book - which will be released in the US on September 11 - follows Tunney, who is given the task of creating a team of agents to find and take German spies down.

Bradley, who has also been nominated for a Bafta for his performance in David O Russell's drama, will next star alongside Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes in Derek Cianfrance's generational drama A Place Beyond The Pines before reprising his role as Phil Wenneck in The Hangover Part III.

Gemini:

Someone will steal credit for your work, which is maddening. Drawing attention to the problem will only make you look petty. You're better off accepting the situation with quiet dignity and grace. Move on to the next assignment, but make sure to sign your name to every piece of work that is submitted. Tell your boss what you are doing on a regular basis. You'll sound like a pest, but at least it's better than getting stabbed in the back.More
