Dominic Cooper is set to play a racing driver in a new movie.
The Mamma Mia! star is currently in talks about taking on the role in Need For Speed, reported Variety.
British actress Imogen Poots is also tipped for a part in the film, which is an adaptation of the video game franchise, although won't be based on any particular title.
The film follows an underground racecar driver, played by Breaking Bad actor Aaron Paul, who is framed and sent to prison when his best friend is murdered during a race.
Dominic is up for the other male lead of an ex-NASCAR driver and Imogen looks set to star as a car dealer who does business with the pair.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that Dominic is set to star in a four-part TV drama about James Bond creator Ian Fleming.
According to The Sun, the 34-year-old is tipped for the lead role of the author in Fleming.
