Cooper rides into Jane Got A Gun

Bradley Cooper has reportedly joined the cast of Jane Got A Gun

Bradley Cooper is replacing Jude Law in upcoming Western Jane Got A Gun.

The film got off to a rocky start after both Jude and director Lynne Ramsey pulled out, but the Hollywood Reporter's Heat Vision blog said that Bradley has now ridden to the rescue and is taking over the part of the villain.

Natalie Portman has already been cast as a woman who runs away from her outlaw husband and is forced to team up with an ex-boyfriend - played by Joel Edgerton - to protect her family.

Warrior director Gavin O'Connor was quickly brought in to replace Lynne, who has not commented on her sudden departure.

Jane Got A Gun is currently in production in New Mexico.
