Corey Stoll to join Ant-Man cast?

Corey Stoll is believed to be in talks to sign up to the cast of Ant-Man.

If the House Of Cards actor does join the Marvel film, he will appear alongside Paul Rudd and Michael Douglas who are already confirmed to star.

According to The Wrap, Marvel would not comment on whether or not they were negotiating with Corey and it isn't known what role he would be being considered for.

The film, adapted from the Ant-Man comics, features Hugh Pym (Michael) who invents a way of shrinking himself to the size of an insect. His breakthrough is taken up by reformed thief Scott Lang (Paul) years later who becomes the superhero character.

The film is also expected to star Evangeline Lilly, Michael Pena and Patrick Wilson.

Corey has upcoming roles in comedy This Is Where I Leave You and Guillermo del Toro's FX series The Strain.

Ant-Man is due to be released in cinemas on July 17, 2015.
