Courteney Cox has signed up to make her debut as a film director.

The star of Friends and Scream will direct indie drama Hello I Must Be Going, starring Seann William Scott, Kate Walsh, Rob Riggle and Kyle Galliner, Variety reported.

Scott will play a suicidal man who heads back to his hometown to try and lay his demons to rest.

Courteney has previously directed parts of her sitcom Cougar Town and TV movie Talhotblond.

She is co-producing the film with her ex-husband David Arquette, through Coquette Prods, the company they set up together.

Shooting is expected to begin later this month in Los Angeles.

Your Horoscopes by Russell Grant

Sagittarius:

Expressing your creative side is strongly advised. Take this opportunity to write, paint or play music. Relatives may not appreciate your work, but that doesn't matter. The important thing is to satisfy your own taste. People who are daring and experimental will appreciate your efforts. Don't be surprised if you're given a chance to showcase your work in a magazine, boutique or gallery. Fame and acclaim can be yours, so long as you're willing to follow your instincts.More
