Courtney: I'd return for Die Hard 6

Jai Courtney would be happy to return for Die Hard 6

Jai Courtney has revealed that he would definitely be up for a sixth Die Hard film.

The Australian actor, who plays Bruce Willis' screen son Jack McClane in A Good Day To Die Hard, admitted he hasn't thought about reprising his role too much, but he would certainly return.

"Certainly. It's a flattering prospect and that's probably about all it is for me at this point," said the 26-year-old at the film's UK premiere.

"We're just enjoying the journey of this project and looking to see what it does. But if I got the call to come back and reprise the role, I'd willingly oblige."

Jai - who has also starred opposite Tom Cruise in Jack Reacher - said making his mark on the Die Hard series, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, is "wonderful".

"It's a gift, a pleasure and a privilege. It's something I never dreamed would happen. So to be part of that legacy is truly fantastic," he added.

The film's producer Alex Young teased that they have already started thinking of ideas for a sixth instalment.

"We have tons of plans for the sixth film. The world is now John McClane's oyster. We can drop him anywhere and now we have this exciting new character of his son that we can have adventures with the two of them and see what kind of trouble they can get into," he hinted.

:: A Good Day To Die Hard opens in cinemas on February 14.
