Daniel Craig has hailed David Fincher as the new Alfred Hitchcock.
The James Bond star worked with The Fight Club director on The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo and has compared him to the filmmaking legend.
Daniel said: "I genuinely feel like he's the closest thing we have to Hitchcock.
"People kind of compare him to [Stanley] Kubrick, but there's something else about him - something that he does with visuals and he does with actors. People kind of give career-defining performances in his movies."
Rooney Mara - who stars in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo - first worked with Fincher in the famous, 99-take opening scene of The Social Network.
She was also full of praise for the Zodiac director.
Rooney said: "David won't lie to you. He just won't. I don't think he's capable of it. He's the most straightforward human being I've ever met. He always empowers you to have a choice."
