Craig gives his 007 role his all

Daniel Craig is reprising his role as 007 in Skyfall

Daniel Craig says it doesn't get any better than playing James Bond.

The star, 44, is back for the next 007 instalment with Skyfall and told Empire magazine that he had given it his all.

"When I'm doing the movie I'm totally single-minded," he told the mag.

"I keep my energy levels as high as I can all the time. I want to inspire, and be inspired. And I'm lucky enough to work with some incredible people with vast experience."

The actor added: "I was standing on top of a train in Turkey with this crew of people, I looked around and I thought, 'You know, this is the best place to be for an actor.' So I kind of give it all I've got, and then collapse for a while!"

Director Sam Mendes said that there would be "quite a lot of new things" in Skyfall, which is due out this autumn.

He said of Javier Bardem, who plays villain Silva: "Javier takes some risks. But he's an amazing actor and I think he gives you something you may consider to have been absent from Bond movies for a long time.

"Silva's up there with the greats, for me, and that's why I worked very hard to persuade one of the great actors of the world to do it..."

The full interview appears in this month's Empire magazine, on sale now.

Taurus:

An embarrassing secret will come to light, affecting your reputation. Somebody who once admired you will now turn away in dismay. Instead of trying to win their affection again, lay low for a wee while. You'll make a much better impression by letting your actions speak for themselves. There is a chance this relationship is beyond redemption. If your former friend decides to keep their distance, you will have no other choice than to respect their feelings. Better luck next time.More
