Crowe: I'd wear tights for Steel 2

Russell Crowe is up for more Man Of Steel

Russell Crowe has revealed he would be up for starring in another Man Of Steel movie.

The New Zealand actor, who played Superman's biological father Jor-El in Zack Snyder's Superman reboot, joked he would even don the tights again if there was a Krypton-set prequel.

"A lot of you are asking about a KRYPTON prequel, if that's something you feel strongly about let @Legendary pictures know your thoughts," he tweeted.

He later added: "If it came up, I'd give the tights another go."

Henry Cavill took on the role of Superman in Man Of Steel, alongside Amy Adams as his love interest Lois Lane. Kevin Costner, Diane Lane and Michael Shannon also appeared in the movie.

Russell, who will make his directorial debut with The Water Diviner, will next be seen in Akiva Goldsman's Winter's Tale and takes the title role in Darren Aronofsky's Noah.
