Cumberbatch for Penguins spin-off

Benedict Cumberbatch and John Malkovich are set to voice characters in The Penguins Of Madagascar.

The Wrap said that Dangerous Liaisons star John will voice the animated film's villain, while Sherlock star Benedict will bring to life the character of an animal CIA agent.

The Madagascar spin-off is set for release in 2015.

British star Benedict voices the role of Smaug the Dragon and the Necromancer in Peter Jackson's Hobbit sequels and is set to appear as Julian Assange in The Fifth Estate.

US star John is currently starring in Red 2 alongside Dame Helen Mirren and Bruce Willis.
