Damon: Douglas is wonderful kisser

Matt Damon plays Liberace's lover in the new biopic

Matt Damon has revealed that cinema-goers will be seeing more of him in the Liberace biopic Behind The Candelabra.

Michael Douglas takes the lead in the HBO film as flamboyant pianist and entertainer Wladziu Valentino Liberace, with the Bourne star portraying his lover Scott Thorson.

"Normally I'd say no to nudity, but I just did a lot of it playing the long-term partner of Liberace. I mean, it's tastefully done. But this movie's not going to be for everyone," Matt told Playboy magazine.

Matt, who next stars in Promised Land with John Krasinski, even joked about locking lips with Michael.

"Michael was a wonderful kisser. It's not like I kiss him just once. We drew it up like a football plan," joked the 42-year-old.

However, the Oscar-winning actor admitted he isn't much of a romantic with his wife Luciana in real life.

"I wish I were better because my wife deserves somebody who surprises her with a gift or flowers or some wonderful idea. I've never been good at that, and she's really good at it, which makes me feel even more like s***," he added.
