Daredevil and Punisher for Marvel?

Producer Kevin Feige has revealed plans for a new Daredevil movie
Producer Kevin Feige has revealed plans for a new Daredevil movie

Daredevil could be heading back to the big screen in a remake by Marvel and The Punisher may be in for a reboot too.

Kevin Feige, the president of production at Marvel Studios, hinted to Bleeding Cool Magazine that fans of the characters could see them make a return.

He said: "We're trying to figure out what to do with Daredevil now. Punisher could show up at one point.

"You know, once we get characters back into the Marvel fold we don't want to do something right away, we want to do the smart thing at the smart time."

Daredevil was played by Ben Affleck on the big screen in 2003 and The Punisher was played by Thomas Jane in 2004, but both movies flopped, leaving the way open to revive them a decade on.

Ben has now defected to DC Comics as he has been announced as the next actor to take on the role of Batman.

Marvel has had hits with films of Iron Man, Thor, The Avengers and Captain America, and a small screen spin-off hit with Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
