Davis: Sex And The City 3 an option

Kristin Davis has said that she thinks a third Sex And The City film could go ahead.

The actress, who played Charlotte York in the original TV series from 1998 to 2004 and the first two films in 2008 and 2010, told Haute Living that she would not rule out making the movies a trilogy.

She said: "I don't think [a third film] is a pipe dream, there is discussion. People talk about it amongst the people who are the players, but I don't know if it will come together. It would be very exciting if it did."

While Sarah Jessica Parker is thought to want to make another film, Kim Cattrall and Cynthia Nixon are not said to be keen, with Cynthia quoted as saying: "I think it's fine to let it go."

Kristin joked: "I'm going to have a little talk with Cynthia the next time I see her!"

Next year, Kristin appears in new TV series, Bad Teacher, playing a divorced woman who turns to teaching to find her next husband.

But Kristin said she hadn't been thinking about getting back into TV after starring in Sex And The City.

"I've done the best TV there is. I'm spoiled rotten," she said. "The experience will never be eclipsed, and it was hard to commit again because I've already had the greatest."
