Guillermo del Toro will not be directing Emma Watson in the new Beauty And The Beast movie after all.
The filmmaker was due to be at the helm of live action film Beauty, a contemporary take on the classic fairytale, but has now dropped out, reported Deadline.
Guillermo backed out because of other commitments, meaning the studio is now searching for someone to take his seat in the director's chair.
However, the Pacific Rim director will still be a producer on the film, which he wrote.
Harry Potter star Emma has been attached to the movie since early in 2012, when it was reported that she would play Belle.
No casting details about the actor who would play the role of the Beast were announced at the time.
