Laura Dern has teamed up with Judd Apatow for a women's football film.

The Fault In Our Stars actress came up with the idea for the movie and approached the filmmaker, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The pair haven't spilled the beans about the plot, but it is known that the movie will be an ensemble comedy and that it will be set in the world of obsessive female football fans.

The actress' other upcoming projects include Wild, the big screen adaptation of Cheryl Strayed's memoir about her Pacific Crest Trail hike, and dramas 99 Homes and Strings.

Judd is directing the comedy Trainwreck, which stars Tilda Swinton and Bill Hader.
