Leonardo DiCaprio is set to star as former US President Woodrow Wilson in a forthcoming biopic, according to reports.
The Great Gatsby star is expected to take the leading role of America's 28th leader as well as produce the film through his Appian Way production company, said The Hollywood Reporter.
Warner Bros has already bought the rights to A Scott Berg's new biography, Wilson, which the upcoming drama would be based on.
It would feature Wilson's guidance of the nation through World War I, the Federal Reserve and the League of Nations during his leadership years, after he was elected President in 1912.
The latest leader to hit the big screen was Abraham Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's Lincoln. The drama, which received 12 Oscar nods, won Daniel Day-Lewis his third Oscar for best actor and also scooped best production design.
Other American Presidents who have been immortalised in film included Richard Nixon in Oliver Stone's 1995 biopic Nixon and George W Bush in W, also directed by Oliver, in 2008.
