DiCaprio to play Rasputin in movie?

Leonardo DiCaprio could be starring as Rasputin

Leonardo DiCaprio is tipped to play Rasputin in a new film.

Warner Bros is set to develop a movie about the Russian mystic and advisor to the Romanov family, and Deadline reported that it is being done with Great Gatsby star Leonardo in mind.

So far the company has bought the pitch from screenwriter Jason Hall.

With plans for the film in the early stages there are no other cast members of a director being mentioned yet.

Rasputin was embraced by the Russian Imperial family but rivals tried to kill him several times, and they eventually succeeded in 1916.

Leonardo, 38, can next be seen in Martin Scorsese's crime drama The Wolf Of Wall Street.

It's difficult to deal with a highly competitive colleague. Every time you submit work, they try to find ways to outperform you. Although you have no interest in pitting your talent against theirs, this other person thinks very differently. Ignoring them won't be possible. A good way to disarm this pest is to invite them out for coffee. Describe what you've observed and ask for a truce. Irrational people are often thrown off balance when their behaviour is addressed in a direct manner.More
