Director Baird's racy Disney film

Filth director Jon S Baird has revealed that he has written the script for a Disney film - about the forming of the Chippendales.

The Scottish filmmaker said the movie would focus on Bengali immigrant Steve Banerjee, founder of the male stripping dance troupe.

"I've just re-written a script for Disney, believe it or not. It is a true story about an Indian immigrant who invented the Chippendales," he said.

Jon, whose Filth star James McAvoy recently won the best actor award at the British Independent Film Awards in London, admitted he has doubts about whether it would make it to the big screen.

"It's pretty crazy. I don't know if it's going to get made but I've done the script for it," he added.

The filmmaker revealed he has a few things on his plate including a potential TV show and more movies.

"I'm talking to somebody about doing a television series and I've got the rights to a couple of novels as well, one being a broader comedy," he said.

"I've also done a script about the Iranian embassy siege that I've had for a while. It's the alternative story, from the gunman's point of view. I've got a lot of different stuff going on."
